Mountain village Manyava – it’s just a perfect place to go hiking for one day. We offer an easy walking tour, full of interesting highlights such as the most popular in Ukrainian Carpathians Manyava waterfall, an ancient Manyavskyi monastery and good portion of mountain scenery. The itinerary is adapted to everybody, so come explore Manyava area, catch a terrific waterfall, wildlife and a good hike.

Day 1

Detailed itinerary

At 7 am you will meet your guides and the rest of your group at the railway station (main entrance) in Ivano-Frankivsk. There we will get a shuttle bus to Manyava village. We start the morning with 7 km walk to the first sightseeing – Manyavskyi waterfall. 18 miters high it’s situated in a deep and narrow rocky canyon. After a short rest the group leaves back to village where we’ll visit an ancient men’s monastery that was founded in 1241 and reconstructed in 1608. The holly place is very popular not only among the Ukrainian, but also foreign pilgrims. From the village the shuttle takes us back to Ivano-Frankivsk.
