Get away from the crowded city and into the mountain wilderness! Join us on the Svydovets trail through the alpine meadows, which offers fantastic hiking adventure, outstanding mountain views and good portion of unforgettable impressions. Trip highlights: old pine-forests; forgotten border; amazing alpine meadows; glacial lakes with cold and pure water; summits, higher than 1700 meters above sea level.
Day 1Kvasy village
In the morning you will meet your guides and the rest of the group at the railway station (main entrance) in Ivano-Frankivsk. There we will get a shuttle bus to the starting point of our hike Kvasy village, which is famous for its mineral waters. Our trail follows an old mountain road through the picturesque beech forests and leads to the Brailka alpine meadow. Here we’ll make a stop for the camp.

Day 2Svydovets
After breakfast we leave on ascend Blyznytsya summit (1881 m). It’s the highest and the most beautiful mount in Svydovets range. Blyznytsya is probably the most stunning viewpoint on our trip. Once we reach it, enjoy incredible views of Carpathians: to the north you will see the whole our itinerary, to the east – the highest summit of Ukraine Hoverla and part of Chornogora mountain range. We continue to explore Svydovets and our next stop is Stih summit (1704 m). On the east slope of the mount there is the highest situated Ukrainian ski resort – Drahobrat. Tonight we will camp by the mountain lake Hershaska, situated in the wide and deep glacial valley.

Day 3Headwaters of Chorna Tysa River
Today we hike through the alpine meadows to another summits: Dogiaska (1762м), Troiaska (1702м) and Tataruka (1707м). On the way we'll see nice glacial lake Apshynets, that has very clean and fresh water. After, we will hike down to the headwaters of Chorna Tysa River. This river is the largest left-bank tributary of the Danube River. Here the group stops for the night.

Day 4Bratkivska Mount and forgotten border
This morning we will travel north to Bratkivska Mountain (1788 m), where the trail follows an old forgotten border. Before II World War this territory was owned by Poland and Czechoslovakia. On the border we take our lunch enjoying really picturesque scenery. After we will hike down to the beautiful Vovkany alpine meadow. Here the group stops for the last night.
Walking time – 7 hrs.
Day 5Departure
On the last day of our journey, the group will hike 7km to Bystrytsya village, which is situated in the lovely mountain valley. For many travelers this village became the favorite hiking spot. From here the transfer takes us back to Ivano-Frankivsk and we will say bye to each other, you will continue your trip home or to the next destination.

Arriving time to Ivano-Frankivsk – 6 pm.
